At Muhu Veinitalu, our food is prepared mainly from fresh local ingredients and seasonal produce from the islands. Our head chef is Finnish Kim Päivästö, who has worked as head chef in several Michelin-starred restaurants. Kim has also been named Chef of the Year in Finland. His dishes showcase the precise touch of an international top chef in flavor combinations, technique, and harmony.
Although Kim is better known as a “fine dining chef,” that’s not what we do here. We serve food in a “NICE DINING”style. You’re warmly welcome to come and try it!
One of Muhu Veinitalu’s specialties is our “Koopalammas” – a local lamb cooked underground for 10 hours. We usually host Koopalammas Dinners few times a week, most often on Saturdays.
